Coach Fitbabe, the difference between Network Marketing companies and direct sales companies is

Network Marketing companies are direct sales companies which pay out a portion of their commissions for a product sold, to a distributor.

In the last few years, many mainstream fortune 500 companies has invested large sums of money into MLM and Network Marketing to get their products into people’s hands.

Warren Buffet owns “Pampered Chef” and says it was one of the smartest investments he ever made!

Coca-Cola started up a functional beverage and energy drink program that was being distributed through individuals by word of mouth and not an expensive vending machine!

Both Robert Kiosaki and Donald Trump endorse networking marketing as viable ways to earn a living. Recently Donald Trump purchased his own MLM company, CAN

Did you notice that Direct TV has a commercial that says that you can get paid for referring your friends to Direct TV.

Charles King, one of the professors at the University of Illinois teaches graduate level work on the power and success of network marketing and direct sales as viable business opportunity models and product distribution channels!

We’ve come a long way from the days that Amway pioneered for us since the 1950’s and 1960’s.

What people in MLM are doing today is making commissions for the retail purchase of products from people who are in a group or downline below them. With a multi-level business you get paid on multiple levels of people below you.

You might have horror stories of some juice or vitamin company rep, or even a family member or friend trying to convert you to their way of life by buying their lotions, potions, soaps and vitamins, etc, or maybe you got duped to going to a house meeting and all the sudden, were ambushed with a slick sales pitch to buy some super high priced functional juice/vitamin drink? (why should you pay $40 for a small bottle of Juice? Orange juice is only $5.00 for a gallon!)

Or maybe you have been burned by some MLM companies because you paid them your money, but your downline never grew or the company went out of business. It is pretty common for new companies to go out of business, as 88% of all start ups go under in less than one year. Many people I talk to, never made any money off the internet or in their home based business. I wonder why?

Or you are simply brand new and this is your first go out into the stormy waters of entrepreneurship. Wow, wouldn’t you like your first go out to be a success rather than being a part of the 98% who fail when they first start their own travel businesses?

Do You Know the Secret?

I have learned the secrets of personal branding and also marketing, and I reveal many of them in my posting. But more importantly, when you join me in Team Beachbody, you get complete access to me, and information, which I don’t share with others.

Lakes’ Travis Vanderwall lean, mean on the mound

Ready for the understatement of the day?

It’s not easy being a teenager.

Duh, we all knew that, right?

There’s peer pressure – and all kinds of temptations. There’s drugs, there’s alcohol, there’s sex.

And then there’s food.

Food?

Yes, food.

Rarely do we think about food as being a tough issue for teens, but indeed it is.

School cafeterias are getting better at providing healthier alternatives at lunchtime, but the fact is, teens generally don’t eat very well. And it’s hard to be a health-food nut when all of your friends are constantly downing pizza, pop, ice cream and candy (aka the teenage version of the four food groups).

“You don’t think about it when you’re my age, but some of the stuff you eat is really bad for you,” said Travis Vanderwall, a junior at Lakes High School.

Vanderwall would know.

He’s a former junk-food junkie. Very former.

In fact, he’s now the exact opposite of a junk-food junkie, thanks to a light-bulb moment he had at a baseball showcase in Crystal Lake in October.

Vanderwall is a top pitcher for the Eagles, and he’s hoping that his light-bulb moment will lead to even brighter prospects during the 2009 season, which got under way statewide about two weeks ago.

Vanderwall already was doing pretty well for himself. He was a big gun last spring as a sophomore when he worked the mound to near perfection and hit a go-ahead double off the fence in his team’s first regional championship victory in school history.

All things considered, Vanderwall thought he was bringing a nice resume and an impressive skills set to that showcase last fall. No wonder he couldn’t believe his eyes when it was his turn to pitch in front of the scouts.

“They all started packing up to leave,” Vanderwall said. “It was like they didn’t want to see me. I wasn’t sure if it was because I was the last person to go that day or what.”

That’s when Vanderwall’s dad, Wade, sat him down for a heart-to-heart.

“My dad just told me that maybe it was my body type, that maybe those coaches were turned off by how I looked,” Vanderwall said. “That was kind of hard to hear at first, but I knew he was right.”

The 6-foot Vanderwall was 220 pounds at the time. According to body mass index calculators, the ideal weight for a 6-foot, 17-year-old boy is 183 pounds.

“You’ve got to be careful with how you say something like that, but I just told Travis that 225 pounds is a little big and that he had to work on that, not just for baseball, but for his life,” Wade Vanderwall said. “When you get to be a bigger person, that’s something you’ve got to watch your entire life. Being a healthy person really should be a top priority.”

That made perfect sense to Vanderwall. The thing is, he had already found an even stiffer motivation for change. He was determined to never have what happened at the showcase happen again.

So, just like that, there were no more chips or fatty snacks. No more pop or candy either. Just lots of fruits, vegetables and proteins.

And Vanderwall’s workouts suddenly went into overdrive.

A friend of his had recently started the deliriously rigorous P90X workout videos that target every muscle imaginable with intense and constantly changing exercises.

“It was hard. I did it like six or seven times a week,” Vanderwall said. “When I added in a better diet, the weight started coming off fast.”

Now, less than four months into his new health and fitness regimen, Vanderwall is a svelte 185 pounds, 35 pounds less than he weighed just last fall.

“It’s hard because I crave all the foods I used to eat … and I’m still around that stuff all the time because my friends eat it, people in my family eat it,” Vanderwall said. “But that’s how important baseball is to me. This was a whole lifestyle change and now I feel good.”

Vanderwall must look pretty good, too. Because he recently went to another one of those showcases. And this time, he got a much different reception from the scouts.

“They didn’t leave this time,” said Vanderwall, who reports that his strength, quickness and stamina have all improved dramatically. “And now I’m getting (recruiting) letters.”

No surprise there.

Vanderwall already had plenty of alluring technical tools, including the wicked slider that he perfected with the help of his dad, who was his youth and travel coach for many years.

Now, Vanderwall is also a walking advertisement for work ethic, which is a big hit with the scouts.

“Travis takes baseball very seriously and you can tell that now just by looking at him,” first-year Lakes coach Bill Rosencrans said. “As a coach, you always want your best players to be your hardest workers because those are the players you can build a program around.

“I think Travis knew that if he wanted to play at the next level, he was going to have to be at the top of his game and be in really good shape, and he’s done that. It’s impressive.”

Of course, Rosencrans might never be more impressed with Vanderwall than he was during double practices back in the fall. He ordered pizza and pop for the players during a break and was stunned at Vanderwall’s will power.

“All of his teammates were sucking down that pop,” Rosencrans said. “But not Travis.”

Vanderwall now drinks water and protein shakes instead.

And his snack of choice is a protein bar.

“They actually taste good,” Vanderwall said of the protein bars. “Not as good as ice cream, but they quench a hunger or a craving. I’m fine with it.”

Does the fat loss industry want you fat?

rolls of fatIf you’re like the majority of people that are trying to lose weight, tone up and get fit, you’ve probably read countless weight loss books and tried all the fad diets. As you probably know by now those fad diets don’t work, do they? And if you are one of the lucky ones to lose some weight while on the diet, how long do you manage to keep it off? As long as you stay on the diet right? As soon as you come off the diet you’ll put it all back on, and then some.

And then there’s the fat loss supplement industry, how many miracle pills have you popped? How many weight loss shakes have you already drank? When you fail on these as most people do you feel it’s your fault, right? In reality it’s not your fault. The weight loss industry is making a fortune at your expense by feeding you rubbish and misleading you, they know how much you want to change the way you look and feel.

The truth is the majority of people just don’t know how to eat properly. We all know we should eat 5-9 servings of fruit and vegetables everyday but how many people do? 90% of Americans are undernourished and you are probably one of them.

When you think of someone being undernourished you immediately see images of people starving in Africa, but in reality if you’re overweight you’re actually undernourished. Because you keep putting the wrong foods into your body, you’re body keeps sending you signal’s that you’re still hungry. If you ate foods that are high in nutritional content your body will stop craving the vital nutrients it needs, and you’ll be closer to your perfect weight!

9 Fat Loss Secrets You Can Use Today!

  1. Fat loss tip # 1 – Eat low GI foods.
Eat foods that are low on the GI index. The Glycemic Impact Index (GI) of a food tells you whether the carbohydrate in the food is fast or slow releasing. Eating foods that have a high GI rating causes your insulin levels to rise. It is a known scientific fact that your body has trouble burning fat when your insulin levels are elevated. Foods that are low GI will give you longer lasting energy whereas high GI foods will give you a short burst of energy, leaving you feeling hungry shortly afterwards.
  2. Fat loss tip # 2 – Healthy Fats.
Not all fats are bad for you, the right kind of fats are essential for optimal health and help reduce the risk cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and a host of other illnesses. Foods that are high in saturated fat, which are found in animal based foods and Trans fats which are in processed foods should be kept to minimum. Eliminate fatty meats from your diet (bacon, sausages etc). If you do eat meat, make sure it’s a lean cut.
  3. Fat loss tip # 3 – Drink plenty of water.
Two thirds of the human body consists of water, which makes it our most vital nutrient. Water is necessary for the transportation of essential vitamins and minerals as well as carbohydrates. If your water intake is low you lose the ability to transport nutrients through your body and substances such as urea, uric acid, ammonia and other nasty matter begin to accumulate, leaving you feeling lethargic.
  4. Fat loss tip # 4 – Eat 5-6 meals times a day.
Eating at regular intervals will keep your metabolism burning strong throughout the day. You’re also less likely to binge eat, will have stable energy levels and will burn more calories through increased meal consumption (digestion burns calories). If you have trouble eating 5-6 meals a day, try adding a meal replacement to your diet, like Shakeology, make sure it’s ‘whole food based’ so it has genuine nutritional value.
  5. Fat loss tip # 5 – Eat more fiber.
A diet that is high in fiber will aid in fat loss whether you’re eating less calories or not. Fiber assists weight loss by releasing sugar into the bloodstream slowly. High levels of sugar in the bloodstream cause an insulin spike which will slow fat burning.
  6. Fat loss tip # 6 – Calorie deficit.
Through proper diet and regular exercise create a calorie deficit. This simply means burning more calories than you’re consuming. Keep a journal and get a calorie counter, you wowy_mdb_losemorecan record your diet for free at . http://www.milliondollarbody.com/signup/?type=premium2&MDB_SKU=MDCLUB1&username=coachfitbabe How are you supposed to know how many calories you’re putting into your body if you’re not keeping track of what you’re eating and drinking? By creating a calorie deficit you’ll be using energy from your energy stores (body fat). The trick is not to create a calorie deficit that’s too high or your body will think its starving and will begin too slow your metabolism down, your focus should be on losing fat, not necessarily weight. A too high calorie deficit can also cause a reduction in lean muscle mass making it harder for you to lose weight.
  7. Fat loss tip # 7 – Weight training.
Muscle is the only tissue that is metabolically expensive. Therefore increasing muscle mass will elevate your metabolism at rest, you’ll burn more calories sitting behind your desk and while you’re asleep, you will also burn a considerable more amount of energy Perform exercises that will give you the biggest return, compound exercises such as deadlifts, squats, pushing and pulling exercises and use a variety of combination lifts and circuits. Use drop sets and superset’s and keep the rest period in between exercises to a
minimum. You can find good programs at www.milliondollarbody.com. http://www.milliondollarbody.com/store/index.htm?ref_Username=coachfitbabe&ref_rep_id=1311
  8. Fat loss tip # 8 – Consume more protein.
Eating protein will keep you fuller for longer, meaning you’ll consume less overall calories in a day. Eating protein also makes your digestive system work twice as hard as eating carbohydrates and fat, so by eating more protein you’ll be burning more calories through digestion (this is known as the thermic effect). One of the biggest mistakes people make when dieting is that they lose muscle as well as fat, which will in turn slow down their metabolism. By eating plenty of protein and following a suitable weight program this wimdb_playnowll ensure you maintain your muscle tissue.
  9. Fat loss tip # 9 – Be around like-minded people.
Be around people that are going to give you the support you need. Research shows that people who have the support from friends and family stuck to their goals and those without support failed time and again. If you’re around overweight people that are not dieting what do you thinks going to happen? That may seem a bit tough but how many millionaires do you see hanging around with people who are penniless. Surround yourself with what you want to become! Join the Team Beachbody community. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore: Twitter about P90x workouts

Recently, Hollywood celebrities are getting much more vocal about their eating habits and workouts by using the online micro-blogging service, Twitter, as their outlet.  Some critics say it’s yet another way stars can self-promote but on the other hand, it may be a means for them to communicate before the gossip columns blow something out of proportion.  Either way, celebrity websites got the scoop on Ashton and Demi’s recent workout activity thanks to their tweets.  Ashton, who is preparing for an upcoming role in a new project admitted that he has stepped up his workouts.  He wrote,

“Time to get serious. I’m so paranoid about doing scenes with my shirt off.”

His wife Demi on the other hand has admitted she hasn’t been as dedicated as her husband.  She confessed, “I have only done the yoga DVD of the P90X so far and that kicked my a–! The husband is banging it out everyday though! I need to motivate!!”

Demi Moore spends a six-figure sum every year on keeping in shape, it has been claimed. The actress has denied having plastic surgery in the past, though she said that she has no problem with other people enhancing their appearance.

Fashion designer and former Project Runway contestant Nick Verreos told OK! magazine that Moore can match her younger peers in the looks department.

“Demi’s body is absolutely amazing, and she can easily compete with the 20-somethings. She looks as good, if not better,” he said.

A source told the publication that Moore follows a strict exercise regimen involving Pilates, weights and circuit training with the assistance of a personal trainer.

“The cost per year is in the six figures,” they claimed.

Moore’s personal makeup artist Erin Ayanian said that she has “flawless skin” with “nothing to cover up”.

She could save a lot of that money if she joins Ashton with his P90x workouts.

Did you know that Baseball Players use p90 to get in shape?

Carroll Rogers of AJC.com interviewed MATT DIAZ, outfielder

Q. How did you lose 30 pounds this offseason?

A. I hate to admit it, but I did an infomercial… . My wife ordered P90X. I saw her doing her leg workout, and it was similar to stuff I did in rehab. I thought that’d be a good way to ease my way back into weightlifting. After a week you realize there’s no easing into that workout.

Q. You watch videos as you work out?

A. They send you 12 videos with 12 different workouts and a diet plan. If you want it, it gives you recipes for every meal, six meals a day …. We moved our kids upstairs out of the nursery and changed the nursery into a P90X room. We got a pull-up bar and dumbbells… . I’d do a P90X workout with my wife in the morning, a baseball workout in the afternoon and go jogging with my wife in the evening while dinner was crock-potting.

It Seems Incredible That You Can lose 100 pounds For Only the price of one DVD

Man wins $50K after losing 112 lbs
Tommy Mygrant, 33, of Bellevue, won the $50,000 as a finalist for Beach Body’s national weight loss contest during a ceremony March 14 at Universal Studios in North Hollywood, Calif. He has lost 112 pounds since September 2007 by using Beach Body’s P90X workout system, a combination of strength-training, cardio, yoga and kick-boxing workouts on DVD.

Tommy Mygrant, an insurance salesman and Bellevue High School assistant football coach. He coaches at the same school that he attended in his youth. No longer obese, he is healthy and an inspiration for others.

He was surprised when he found out that he was obese and weighed 275 pounds. The doctors told him, “Your blood pressure is too high. Your cholesterol is too high, and your obesity is an issue,’” Tommy recounted. “I had to get down to 200 pounds. I’d always been a big guy, but this was the first time where my weight showed up as a health concern in numbers.”

So Mygrant began working out six days a week and struck to a nutrition plan geared at permanently changing eating habits and how he viewed food. Since September 2007, he has lost 112 pounds and replaced flab with rippling muscles.

His weight loss resulted from his use of the P90X exercise system — developed by fitness expert Tony Horton. Tony Horton, will keep you engaged every step of the way, and you won’t believe your results!
